A Photographers Diary

Last noght was the last lesson on our photography course of 2011, it was a good group of students and i’m sorry to see it end. But with the new one starting on the 17th of Jan am sure we will see some more fun times.

I’m finding it hard to juggle everything at the moment from the new venture we have in the business to the battle of the bands to starting the new course, don’t get me wrong i’m managing and with Kirsty by my side we’ll get everything done. This year proves to be the most exciting yet!

Well tonight sees the last of our photography course from 2011… the new starts on the 17th of Jan, but they new students have a long way to go to top these guys they are the best students we have had…. hard to say and sorry if anyone previously have been offended!

Busy old day today the battle of the band and the Redcar bowl stuff seems to be taking off big time!! and we are really looking forward to it.. might be a little deaf after it though.

Well better go Sam has turned up for the course… Night All!

Well another poist for the new year.. i’m doing well to remember! Seems we are as busy as ever in the world of photography, the course starting on the 17th of jan seems to be booking up fast and portriats seem to be coming through the door like theres no tomorrow!

Had a nice break today and took the dogs down the beach to look atthe new sea defences and the Vertical Peir, WOW can’t wait till they fininsh looks really impressive just what this area needs something new and fresh.

I often wonder who reads these blogs?, they must think i’m a nutter talking about complete and utter crap, but hey someone has too…

Hi all, been a while since i last blogged as usual, i promise this year i will blog more…….

Been a very busy period for us and looks like this year is going to even busier! which is good… we have a had few different hit over the past few months two with different people trying to upset the business kalmer, but we seem to have got through it and come out the other side stronger.

Really looking forward to the battle of the band in Redcar Bowl ( www.roundelevents.co.uk) which we are doing the photography for and have just completed their website.

The wildlife site is looking really well too – www.discoverywildlifephotography.co.uk you can purchase the images and book courses online now!!!! that reminds me we have a new Photography Course starting on the 17th of Jan if anyones interested…

The Wedding photography is looking to be a busy year too…. and just heard off kirsty that she has set up a competition for the prettiest kid on facebook and is now fanatically trying to keep up with the responses and comments, emails and friend request…….. she a good one really feel privileged to work next to her and of course lover her to bits

I must appologise i set this blog up to blog about what had happened on the day, and to be hoinest it was foulish of me to think i would have the time to blog everynight.

Since my last blog i’m still tired and working as hard as i can. I have two courses running wihc i am teaching we have extended the studio in redcar too. Discovery Wedding photography is getting bigger next year seem to be our busies tyear yet.

And to have a break i popped down to saltburn to take some picture of whatever i could find.  on below for you to see.

Well another long day, quarter too one in the morning again and i’m just fininshing what i can before my eyes close.

This might sound stupid but on my way round to pick up some baby milk from the store i had a revelation….. I really enjoy driving my car! I have always been into my cars and known for how clean they are.

Had a shoot cancelled today, not a surprise something that seems to be happening at the moment. been working on the website today trying to get things caught up and looking nice again, this seems to be the best site we have had so far. The amount of weddings that need sorting are really get to me i seem to think i have in the region of 4000 images that need editing or uploading…… must get things caught up … must work harder and longer than i am at the moment…. night all X

Well its just coming upto one in the morning and i’m still up working. Its been a long day clients this morning and a wedding this aft.

I really wasn’t in a good mood this morning i have far too much work to be getting on with and the more i seem to work at it the more seems to come my way making more and more tired. I am really finding it hard to concentrate at the moment, a day off doesn’t seem to help relax my mind seems to make me worse.

Any clients reading this might think i’m stupid for telling them how i’m feeling but as i have always said i’m honest and have nothing to hide just trying to earn a living like everyone else.

Oh well, this is the first post of many and I hope to have a few more images on here too otherwise it will be SOOOoOOOooO boring….. Night all XX
