I remember capturing Tom when he was almost the same age as Poppy. I can’t believe how he’s grown. As a portrait photographer, I like to work in an environment that makes the family, children, everyone to be honest literally at home and relaxed. Working in the family home or on location really make a difference to how people react in front of the camera. As a studio photographer with 15 years portrait photography under my belt. The studio environment doesn’t always work well with the children. The paper backdrop and false lights all add to a scary place to be. You can see Tom and Poppy enjoyed the photo shoot and had fun too. That’s the part that matters to me.
