Joseph and Ellie | North yorkshire wedding
A Bentley, a Land Rover Defender and sunflowers what more could a bride and groom want?
Joseph and Ellie have tried so hard during the pandemic to make their day come true, they had almost given up hope. Finally, as we all become free of the pandemic restrictions they were able to make their big day happen.
It was such a lovely chilled day, usually the pressure to capture the important part of a wedding is quite intense, but we had a lot of spare time relieving the pressure all round.
The spare time meant we got the chance to head to the beautiful North York Moors National Park. Having the Bentley and the Land Rover there too, gave me the chance to work with Joseph and Ellie in a themed shoot situation.
I knew the road well and I see the road as symbolic, to me it symbolises the time the couple had together, leading them to their wedding day. The car and the couple facing me with the road behind enhances that symbolism.
The veil flowing round front to the right of the image depicts a similar story, everything leading up to the day where the couple become one.
I created an image which focuses (sorry for the photography pun) on the bridal bouquet, the contrast between the overcast sky, which did hold off with the rain, and the brightness of the flowers. To me showed the bright future the couple have in front of them.
Did the flowers look amazing? Check out - www.rosemaryblooms.co.uk
Both Katie and I were proud and honoured to be a part of Joseph and Ellie's day.
