Ambers Birthday | Photo Shoot.
We have worked with both Sarah and her sister before whilst they where Bridesmaids at one of the weddings we were covering the photography of in Guisborough. Not forgetting Amber’s christening portraits. So when we moved our studio to Guisborough they where one of the first to follow us and book, I believe, three more shoots with us.
Photoshoot | new studio, Guisborough
Sarah and Phil came to us on our first week wanting a shoot doing for their two young tikes. Of course this is our business so we where glad to help. We asked them to bring some props along with them on Saturday, we find it much more personal to ask our clients to bring their own props, it simply means that we can make the shot personal to them rather than us using props we have in our studio which might not fit the clients hobbies or interests.
Alan and Lucy | Pre-wedding photo shoot
Seems like all we are doing at the moment is weddings and associated things, Alan and Lucy’s wedding is in October so to have their pre-wedding shoot now is perfect, and after Lucy contacted us through Facebook it was arranged. Now Alan isn’t the shyest of people he’s up for a laugh and i believe their wedding at Rushpool Hall, will have most of the guests on Space Hoppers!
Kenny & Sally's Wedding | Whitby Registry Office
Its seems a lifetime since Sally and Kenny booked us for their wedding photography, yet it seems like only yesterday I did their pre-wedding shoot, that's because it was. You see they don't live in he area and have travelled up purely for their wedding which took place on Saturday afternoon. They chose this weekend because It was Sally's mums birthday who had passed away some time ago. So it was a very emotional weekend, and with temperatures soaring to the dizzy 28's and with it been Whitby Regatta weekend too..
Photo shoot | Redcar RNLI
A little different type of shoot for us today, you see been a studio and wedding photographer is fantastic, we get to meet and work with some fantastic people, pets and client in some wonderful places. But your work a photography is, I can't quite find the right word and don't want to use it but, dictated by your clients venues weather etc.
Ian and Francesca | pre-wedding shoot
Ian and Francesca booked us to cover their wedding photography a while back now. But their big day is almost upon us, time seems to be flying this year. They arrived at the studio in fine fettle, they are both very easy going and funny to work with. Been paramedics they have to have a lighter view on life. Ian brought his son along to so we had even more fun with the shoot.
John and Tamsin's | Bishop Auckland FC Wedding
It was a privileged to cover John and Tamsin's wedding, They chose Lynesack Church set in the beautiful British countryside, and although the the true British weather was upon us the church still felt special, giving us plenty of opportunity to capture some really nice images. Made even more moving by the surprise piper to take Tamsin down the isle.
Amber | Christening shoot
Rachel was a bridesmaid at a wedding we covered, so when her sister wanted some images of her little one in her Christening dress she knew exactly where to come. I never like to push little children too far and tend to work as hard as i can for the first half an hour and judge how they are reacting. Because no matter what is in front of the camera, a model, pet, child their welfare always come close.
George and Jacqueline | Nunthorpe Wedding
George and Jacqueline booked us to cover their wedding photography last year, and it was our first time at St Marys Church, in Nunthorpe. We where certainly impressed, the Rev'd Stuart East was fantastic he gave perfect direction and made the service something to remember. The Church itself was a grand building in which there was almost perfect light even on such a misty damp day as yesterday.
Sophie the Golden Retriever | Pet Photography
We have seen an increase in Pet portraits or recent, they have always been a big part of our business. With both Kirsty and myself been animal lovers and dog people. We are always at home when taking pictures of pets. Sophie was no different, at 22 months old she had a lot of play in her. She had presence in the studio though;
Nick & Stacey’s wedding | Guisborough, North Yorkshire
Nick and Stacey came to see us what seems to be a while back to book us to cover their wedding photography. Strangely enough Kirsty actually went to school with Stacey so kinda knew her, which made things a little easier, its always great to have a connection with client. The images that are produced are so much more relaxed.
Clare's Little one christening.
Its not often that we get asked to cover Baptisms. Its seems to be apart of the photography market that clients seem to miss. I think w have only covered three since we set up five years ago.
Andy and Emily's wedding | Danby castle
I have known Andy and His dad Gordon for a while and took great pleasure when he booked me and Kirsty to cover their wedding photography at Danby Castle . We knew its was going to be a laugh from the start to finish and that it was.
Pet photography photo shoot
Bella dad had never heard of pet photography before, well we have covered everything from a Hamster to a horse and everything in between. Today saw us taking pictures of belle, one of the cutest dogs i have ever seen.
Andy and Emily's | Pre-wedding shoot.
Andy's dad is a well know character in and around the Redcar area, and when he said they should book us for their wedding photography we were happy to oblige. We know their wedding will be an complete blast and good fun to capture. So when Andy and Emily came to the studio after work one night, the fun and laughter began.
David and Leanne's wedding | Grinkle Park Hotel, Easington, North Yorkshire
David and Leanne’s wedding at Grinkle park Hotel was a fresh mixture of fun and traditional wedding capers. Aided by the bright sunshine we managed to capture every second of the day. From Conga lines to horse and carts this wedding covered all the basis. Leanne’s sister had a surprise for her and booked a horse and carriage to take them both for a trip around Grinkle lane, Leanne was in fact a horse lover but was allergic to them.
Birthday present portrait photo shoot.
Ella contacted us asking if we could do some family portraits for her mum for her birthday, obviously we could so we arranged to get everyone to the studio late one Saturday.
Dyke family | Portrait photo shoot.
We like to support local charities to the best we can, and generally give out a portrait shoot certificate, Ruth won one from SODA (Survivors Of Domestic Abuse) one of those local charities we support.
Tunbull family | Family portrait photo shoot
We worked with a a lovely family called the Turnbulls taking another family portrait. Straight away Tom and myself hit it off as he like wildlife... unsure on his favourite presenter though.... Simon king's mine (just in case he reads this).
