Gavyn and Jenny | Pre wedding Photoshoot

Pre wedding photoshoots have always been a crucial part of the wedding photography, especially when the clients are situated a distance away. I first met Gavyn and Jenny, briefly when they booked their wedding photography with me and although we had communicated via email or text we never actually met up. They lived in Leeds and moved to York a few months ago. With us situated in the north east it was hard to meet up. Hence the importance of the pre wedding photoshoot.

Sometime, just sometimes, we get to go to such special places. We met them on a bright sunny, hot day in Flamborough Head near Scarborough. I’d driven by but never actually called to see what the lighthouse and beach. WOW was I missing something.

With it been a weekend when we met the secluded beach was packed and the car park, coffee house was too. This didn’t take the fact the it was wonderful to see the guys again and grab those precious few shots, even managing to miss the crowds from the shots too.

We had a good chat about their wedding day too, making sure we had enough detail so we knew what was happening and where we needed to be on the day, it was just a shame we couldn’t grab a coffee and enjoy the surroundings a little more.
