Ben and Jade | The archers country house
The Arches Country House, had to wait until the guest had endured the bitterly cold start to the day. Through the warmest of jackets the winter wind was piercing. Awaiting the arrival of the beautiful Jade the guests and Ben were huddled together in the church entrance . Luckily the church was warm and inviting on such a cold day.
The church gave a grand backdrop for the first set of photographs captured. Churches are a great love of mine. They give such a dramatic backdrop to the bride and groom's images but especially when converted to black and white. They really are amazing pieces of engineering with their huge windows and tall ceilings.
The reception was nestled in the scenic North Yorkshire coast. The Arches country house is one of my all time favourite venues. Based in Brotton, almost on the cliff edge, the views are usually fantastic. Unfortunately on such a cold day as Ben and Jades wedding they didn't really get chance to benefit from them. The venue matched exactly what everyone needed for the day, it was small intimate and cosy and was somewhere to spend the evening.
